Maths Eyes Madness!
On Friday we had our very last Maths Eyes morning. We went to Corkagh Park for the final part of the project. A maths trail has been set up in Corkagh Park, it will be left there permanently for the public to use. It was great fun. We were split into groups of 3 with 3 transition year girls to help us. We had a booklet with instructions and questions for us to follow. There are two different levels of questions so even young children can do it.
The mayor gave all the schools who participated a very nice glass plaque that is on display in our school.
We did really fun activities with some people from different universities. All the games were based on maths and some were tricky for us to figure out but they were good to get us thinking! One girl was able to read our minds and tell what date our birthday was on without us telling her!
It was a great day, we really enjoyed participating in this project.
